Photography in Christiansfeld's Historic Heart

Christiansfeld is one of my favourite places to shoot. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, and that status isn't just a label. The town genuinely looks like nowhere else in Denmark. Perfectly symmetrical yellow-brick streets, cobbled squares, linden-lined avenues in the Moravian cemetery. It creates a naturally timeless backdrop that works without trying too hard.

I regularly shoot at Søstrehuset and around the Moravian Church area. For weddings, Søstrehuset functions as an official ceremony location and the rococo staircases and long corridors make it exceptional for portraits even when the weather turns. For something outdoors, Gudsageren and the Christinero woodland area are both within easy reach.

If you're planning a wedding, couples shoot or family session in Christiansfeld, get in touch. I know exactly where to take you.

Christiansfeld is 15 minutes from my base in Kolding -- I also cover Haderslev and the wider South Jutland area..
