Wedding, Couples & Family Photographer in Fredericia

Fredericia is unlike anywhere else I shoot. Built from scratch in 1650 as a royal fortress town, it's still ringed by a star-shaped earthwork rampart with bastions, old cannon, and elevated viewpoints over the Lillebælt strait. The strict grid of straight streets, low half-timbered yards, and unusual tower-less churches give it a character no other Danish town has.

I travel to Fredericia for weddings, couples shoots and family sessions across the old town and the ramparts. For civil ceremonies, Meldahls Rådhus at Bülows Plads is the classic choice. Trinity Hotel & Konference sits on the Lillebælt surrounded by green areas, useful for larger weddings or full-day coverage. Outdoors, Fredericia Vold and Prinsens Port both work year round, with strong colour on the earthworks in autumn and open strait light off Kongens Bastion in summer.
