This Privacy Policy explains how Beate Neimane, trading as BeaVisuals ("I", "me", "my"), collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with this website and my photography services. I am committed to handling your data with care and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act (Databeskyttelsesloven).

1. Contact form
When you submit an enquiry through the contact form on this website (powered by Tally.so), I collect your name, email address, shoot type, preferred shoot date, shoot location, and any requirements or questions you share. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed to book, to fulfil our service agreement.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and contract performance (if a booking follows).
Retention: I keep enquiry data for up to 2 years, after which it is deleted.
Tally.so is a GDPR-compliant form processor based in Belgium (EU). Your form data is stored on their secure servers within the European Union. You can read their privacy policy at tally.so/help/privacy-policy.
2. Photography - client images
As part of my photography services (weddings, portraits, and other sessions), I collect and process photographs and videos in which you and others may appear. These images are personal data under GDPR as they can identify you.
Legal basis: Contract performance. When you book a session, our contract sets out the agreed use of images, which may include delivery of edited photographs to you, display on my website and portfolio, and use in marketing materials and social media. The specific terms are detailed in your signed service agreement.
Retention: I retain edited images for a period of up to 5 years. Raw files are kept for a shorter period and then deleted.
If you wish to have images removed from my website or marketing materials, please contact me at beate(at)beavisuals.com and I will action your request promptly.
3. Third parties appearing in photographs
At events such as weddings, guests and other individuals may appear in photographs. I process these images on the basis of legitimate interest in delivering a professional photography service. I take care to handle such images responsibly.
If you appear in a photograph published on this website and wish to request its removal, please contact me at beate(at)beavisuals.com. I will review and respond to all requests.
4. Website analytics
This website uses Framer's built-in analytics to measure page visits. Framer Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No consent is required for this, and no personal data is shared with third parties as a result of website visits.
5. Cookies
This website does not use non-essential cookies. No cookie consent banner is required. The only technologies in use are strictly necessary for the website to function and Framer's cookieless analytics.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access - request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
Rectification - request correction of inaccurate data
Erasure - request deletion of your data, where no overriding legal basis applies (note: images processed under a signed service agreement may be retained in accordance with that contract)
Restriction - request that I limit how I use your data
Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interest
Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
