Photography Across Aarhus and the Bay

Aarhus covers more visual ground than almost any other city in Denmark. Cobbled half-timbered lanes in the Latin Quarter sit a short walk from cutting-edge harbour architecture on Aarhus Ø, and the Marselisborg forest and beach stretch south from the centre with free-roaming deer and open bay views. It's a city where the backdrop can shift completely between morning and afternoon without leaving the same postcode.

I travel to Aarhus for weddings, couples shoots and family sessions across the area. Aarhus Rådhus, Arne Jacobsen's 1941 city hall, is the civil ceremony venue with a notable wedding room and tower views. Thors Mølle sits in the Marselisborg deer forest with garden and bright halls for larger gatherings. For something more dramatic, Rosenholm Slot, a Renaissance castle about 25 km north, handles parties up to around 120 with a courtyard and parkland setting. Outdoors, Møllestien in the Latin Quarter is among the most photographed lanes in Denmark, and the Infinite Bridge runs 188 metres into Aarhus Bay from the beach south of the centre.

Aarhus is about an hour north of Kolding -- Horsens sits between us and is part of my service area. Get in touch and tell me what you have in mind.
